Unfortunately, the news from COVID are bad. In Germany the hospitals are saturated and a lock down is again being considered.
In this context, we have reached with heavy hearts the decision yesterday evening to cancel the conference in Berlin and to transform it into a 100% digital event.
We have therefore planned to maintain a congress in an expanded form with an even richer content, fully translated into English, German, French, and Polish. All parallel sessions (workshops, short presentations) will be now accessible to all.
Because the congress is also about human encounters, we have maintained the coffee breaks as online chat sessions.
The professionals and experts will be live and you will be able to ask them your questions at the end of each session. The new enriched program can be found here.
So that the German host organization, who took the risk to organize this congress in time of COVID, does not make a financial loss, we ask all families from all over Europe who could not come to Berlin to show solidarity and register for this online congress at a special "last minute solidarity fee" of 40 euros. Donations to support this special event are also possible.
Let's make this congress in 2021 a congress, whose heart beats in Berlin, in every city in Europe and the world where there are families and professionals of the 22q11 Europe network.
Thank you for your solidarity, your support and see you next Saturday!
