On November 22nd, we celebrate « 22q11 Day » by supporting the European movement to light up iconic buildings in red to raise awareness for 22q11 syndrome.
Just like previous years, we're inviting as many European organizations as possible to join the movement!
As a local association, here are three ways you can participate
1) Invite building managers and municipalities in your cities/countries to light up their buildings in red.
Don't forget to translate the folder below and send them for more explication about 22q11 deletion.

2) For those that cannot participate by lighting up their building, encourage them to share the initiative on their social media and websites. Ideally, prepare a communication kit in your national language, including text and visuals for social media, and invite them to share this information on the day of the event.
3) Mobilize local communities, families, medical staff, volunteers, and members of your association to wear red on November 22nd and post a photo on their networks with the hashtag #22q11day.
As citizens, feel free to let us know about any other actions you're planning for 22q11 Day, and we'll be happy to share them on our networks.
